Interested in becoming our next paid intern here at Better Exercise Physiology?

Our focus is on helping you be the best Exercise Physiologist you can be so that when you graduate you're ready to hit the ground running.

We do this via our structured training process that covers everything you need over the first 6 months of your employment with us.

This is combined with our online learning hub, training vides and 1-to-1 time with our senior Exercise Physiologists.

Here's a snap shot of our training manual to give you and idea of what to expect.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The first 6-8 weeks
  • you'll learn
    • how to use the Pilates reformer
    • key Reformer Pilates exercises
    • how to manage a group classes
  • you'll shadow our Reformer Pilates classes before stating to run some of the class yourself
  • by the end of the 6-8 weeks you'll be ready to take classes on your own

Ongoing
  • you'll take regular Reformer Pilates classes each week
  • you'll have regular 1-to-1 training as you continue to learn and grow
  • training will take on more of a clinical focus
  • you'll learn:
    • exercises and treatment approaches for common musculoskeletal complaints
    • how to use force plates and dynamometers to objectively assess clients
    • how to run 1-to-1 consults effectively

After 6 months
  • suitable applicants will be offered ongoing employment as part of the team
  • you'll continue to learn under the guidance of our senior Exercise Physiologists
  • the role will shift to include taking clinical clients and Clinical Pilates classes once accredited
