Each of our team members are university trained with a degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science.

dr Chris Neason
​Owner

BExSc, BExSpSc (Hon), MClinExPhys, AEP, ESSAM

Chris is the owner here at The Healesville Wellness Factory. He started the business over 13 years ago to help people overcome pain and injuries. Chris lectures within the Master of Exercise Physiology at La Trobe University, and completed a PhD exploring exercise for low back pain at Monash University. When not teaching, Chris oversees the business operations and supports our team.

Charmaine Lower
​Office Manager

​Charmaine is our office manager and the one who keeps things running smoothly at the Healesville Wellness Factory. With the support of our reception team, Charmaine handles all of your membership enquiries, feedback and anything else that comes up from week to week. Charmaine is here to answer any questions you may have.

Kelly lewis 
Exercise Physiologist

Kelly is an experienced Exercise Physiologist who has been with Better Exercise Physiology for over 10 years. She has extensive experience working across multiple clinics and with a wide range of injuries and health conditions. She is passionate about helping people with neurological conditions, such as Parkinson's, MS and cerebral palsy, to stay strong and healthy. She has the ability to make her sessions both challenging and fun, yet safe and supportive, all at the same time.

Beth SPITERI
​Exercise Physiologist

Beth is one of our highly knowledgeable senior Exercise Physiologists here at Better Exercise Physiology.  We’re very fortunate to have her, as she brings a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of exercise. Her passion is working with children on the Autism Spectrum as well as children and adults with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities. Outside of work, Beth is a passionate callisthenics coach, helping her students with preparation and injury prevention.

Bri Saville
​Exercise Physiologist

Bri is one of our senior team members, having been with us for over 10 years. Bri has experience across several clinics working with people with injuries and pain. She’s highly knowledgeable across all areas of exercise rehab, and with two boys of her own, she has a special interest in pre- and post-natal care and in supporting women's health through exercise. She is also a strong advocate of using exercise to help manage mental health conditions.

Jaz is a fully qualified Exercise and Sport Scientist and is currently completing a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University. With experience working across various gyms and Pilates studios, Jaz has a passion for working with clinical populations and helping individuals in pain find movement that is both safe and enjoyable.

Nicola is the newest Exercise Physiologist in our team and brings a wealth of knowledge to Better Exercise Physiology. She has experience working across multiple pathologies and enjoys getting to know people and helping them find ways to enjoy movement. Nicola is a trained Gymnast, when she is not at work, you will find her judging gymnastics competitions or camping with her family and border collie.

​Pilates Instructor & receptionist

Naomi is a talented Pilates Instructor and receptionist here at The Healesville Wellness Factory. Naomi helps manage client enquiries, takes bookings, and handles all the behind-the-scenes business to keep your classes running smoothly. When she's not at work, you'll find her keeping up with her own exercise or being super mum to their four kids.
