At The Healesville Wellness Factory we help expecting mums to stay active right throughout the pregnancy 🏃🏼♀️ 🧘♀️ 🏊♀️
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists will tailor an exercise program based on the stage of pregnancy.
We have the knowledge 🤓 to give advice on the safest exercises and what exercises to avoid ❌
We can also work in with doctors and midwives if there are any contra-indications or serious issues to be aware of.
In an assessment we’ll go through some movement tests and set up an exercise program that can be done at home.
Things we can work on:
- Maintaining core strength
- Minimizing abdominal separation
- Pelvic floor activation
- Fitness to get through late pregnancy and labour
- Exercises to do following the birth
From there we can offer weekly Clinical Exercise classes or continue with individual appointments.
How our classes work:
- We have just 4 people in a class
- Each person has their own exercise program
- We combine mat Pilates, weights and Reformer Pilates
